The mission of the Queen Anne’s County Democratic Central committee is to support the Maryland state party’s principles and help elect Democrats to public office. We encourage citizens to register and assist voters, staff events, work at polls and on phone banks, text, raise funds and resources, and support the party organization. As a local organization we work to recruit, help train and support local candidates. We attend local events and monthly Democratic Club events and encourage people to consider running for local and state office.
The Central Committee is seeking candidates to fill vacancies in the 2026 election.
This is an opportunity to serve the community, prepare for the Gubernatorial Election and advance Democratic values in our County. There is a monthly in-county meeting, two state meetings, and a commitment to fundraising and other events as organized by the Central Committee.
Candidates must be registered Democrats who are local residents. Please submit a letter of interest. More information can be obtained by calling 443-262-1310 and/or emailing your inquiry and letter to info@qacdcc.org.
Additionally we have one opening on the Central Committee to complete out a vacated 2026 term. Per our bylaws, the applicant for this opening must be a male Queen Anne's County resident who is a registered Democrat.
Sincerely,
The Queen Anne’s County Democratic Central Committee
